INTERVIEWING A KNIGHT, CYPRUS
The children of 1st and 2nd
year had the opportunity to experience an up, close and personal interview with
a Templar Knight.
The questions came down like arrows in a battle, but the knight was well trained and prepared and managed to share with the children his experiences in knighthood.
Though wounded, the knight was able to demonstrate the fighting abilities that made knights a formidable soldier, whose aim was to serve God, the King and the people of his country.

The most important information that was
passed on to the future generation was the Code of Righteous Conduct of
Knights, and the children’s pledge to follow it.

SHIELDS OF LOVE, CYPRUS

With our imagination and in a creative mood we made our own shields. We have studied and used emblems that were used in the medieval period:
Also symbols of other kingdoms around Europe like France and England, inspired us to work! Our medieval palette included tones of blue, red, green, black and white. The final products did not disappoint us and were really exciting!

The Jerusalem Emblem
The Lion from the Kingdom of Cyprus
The sword and the inscription from the new Order of Chivalry “the Knights of Sword”, which was organized by Peter the first.
