CHRISTMAS CARDS, POLAND

Polish pupils were so happy and excited to receive Christmas cards from partners!!

And this is our Comenius Corner in Christmas mood;))

Comenius song

U-Knight Song
We are Knights of Europe, we are brave
We can stand together hand in hand
We are going to change our world
Even if we don’t use any sword

Our shields are made of real love
Our hearts are full of lovely words
We are gentle and honest and brave
That is how we want to behave

We all are the same
Under the Europe sky
Knights of the nations
As a team we can fly

We all are the same
Together in our home
Let’s be U-Knighted today
Let’s never be alone

PLEDGE OF POLISH KNIGHTS, POLAND

I want to be a Comenius Knight
with all my young and little heart
Protect defendless, little, poor
For those unhappy - be the best cure
Give smile and laughter and helping hand
To make my city a Promise Land.

Sinterklaas, a curious Dutch tradition

Sinterklaas is a bishop, who according to Dutch tradition lives in Spain. He visits The Netherlands every year in November. On the 5th of December all children receive presents from him.

He visits the school every year and brings two very clever helpers, named Piet. The children from 4 to 8 get a present. The older children make something for eachother from cardboard, plaster or whatever. They hide a present in it and make a poem for eachother.

I know it looks and sounds very ridiculous, but we all have great fun!!
Just look at the video and be amazed.
